This is No Time to Waste Time

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." -Matthew 6:34

We don't have tomorrow.

"But Jesus said to him, 'No one having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." -Luke 9:62

We don't have yesterday.

"... Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation." -2 Corinthians 6:2

Today is the day.

"See then, that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." -Ephesians 5:15

Don't waste time.

"And saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel." -Mark 1:15

Witnessing, Friday 4.8.11

All believers in Berkeley, we have a mandate and a call to go and PREACH. God's will is simple: "none should perish, but all should come to repentance." -2 Pet. 3:9... and how will they know without a preacher? (Rom. 10:14) Let's go!!

We are inviting you to come out with us on friday and witness to the lost on UC Berkeley's campus.
We will meet on Bancroft and Telegraph at Sproul Hall in the afternoon.

Please contact Anthony England (rapterrock@aol.com) for more information.

True love for these people would care too much to just let them go to hell. Please, don't wait-- Jesus is coming back!!

Thank you,
Brittany England :)

Testimonies of Evangelizing On Campus (3.11.11)

If You HOLD the Truth, Don't HOARD the Truth!

Brothers and Sisters, we need to GO! There are so many lost and dying right outside our doorstep.  Some that have never even heard the gospel before.  Spiderman always quoted, "With great power, comes great responsibility."  We have the greatest power of ALL inside us, and that's the blood of Jesus!  If the Holy Spirit lives in you, you have a responsibility to preach the gospel!  "Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. " -Matthew 18:11  We need to get out there and spread the gospel and restore people's vision back to Jesus Christ.

A few days after returning from the Mardi Gras Outreach in New Orleans, Louisiana, we were ready to go and excited! After questioning: What more can we do here?  Would I be satisfied with dying right now?  Could I have done more with my life here and time here?  Could I have helped win any more souls?  There's so much more to be done in this world, starting in our own city!  We to stop waiting for support in Berkeley and know that God is MORE than enough support to do His work.  That day, Anthony spoke with a classmate, Brian, that he had known since the beginning of college.  He is a young Christian that wants to do more for the Lord, more than just sit on a pew.  Brian asked Anthony if he could go witness with him on campus and get an open air preaching going!  Praise God-- He is always right on time.

Immediately, we went out friday afternoon witnessing to the by-passers at Sproul right near Bancroft Road.  Anthony and Brian began to witness to two homeless men sitting on a bench, while I talked to people as they walked by.  As Anthony was finishing up praying with Jeff, one of the homeless men, a student who went by Solomon approached them with the words, "Can I get some of that?" -Hungry for the truth and Jesus!  Anthony began speaking with him and encouraged him in the Lord.  After praying with him, and exchanging information, Solomon's vision was restored.  He now wants to be obedient and preach the gospel! "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." -Mark 16:15

Following shortly after, Anthony spoke to a young man named Adrian.  Anthony went on to ask him if he had a testimony about what the Lord had done in his life.  "They overcame the enemy but the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." -Revelation 12:11  Adrian was puzzled and didn't know what a testimony was.  He had never been pointed to the cross or heard the gospel!  As the Spirit continued to move, Adrian was convicted and had the truth revealed to him.  After praying for him, his life was changed!  Amen!

Meanwhile, I spoke with a young girl named Mya.  She had never heard the truth before and just never even stopped to think about the Lord or needing Him.  She was raised not to believe in "religion" but appreciated what we were doing out there.  I gave her the gospel, prayed for her, and lead her to Jesus.  She walked away pensive and had some decisions to make.  Pray for her, she needs to open her heart to the Lord.

Looking over at the middle of the sproul opening, there was a group of girls and one guy sitting in a circle hanging out, chatting.  Anything goes in Berkeley.  I asked if I could sit with them, then asked if I could read something to them and the guy, Eian, agreed while the girls wanted me to "make it quick."  I read them most of Psalm 22.  I began sharing with them the prophecies fulfilled in Jesus' death and resurrection.  One girl had no idea what I was talking about.  She didn't even know the testimony of the cross! While explaining it to her, one by the one, the other girls walked away distracted by other people.  However, Eian was making comments revealing his knowledge of the Bible.  Soon enough, we were interrupted and the girl left, too.  Eian stayed and wanted to talk more about the Word.  It turned out the his dad is a Presbyterian pastor and his mother is Methodist.  He claimed himself to be former Christian, now "agnostic" but I disagreed.  Eian was lost and confused and realized that he never really had faith in God to begin with.  I pointed him to Jesus and prayed for his soul.  That day, Eian's dad had someone standing in the gap for his son, pleading with him.  My obedience to talk to him was an answer to his dad's prayers.  I am believing for Eian's salvation and know that seeds were planted! Amen!

If you hold the truth, don't hoard the truth! :)
